NYC Eats: Viand Coffee Shop

Old school classic American diner.  Food is fresh and reliable.  Price is reasonable too.  It’s a very packed little store and the tables aren’t that big.  Service is fast but it wasn’t too good.  I just thought the waiter got very aggressive and rude when I was paying the bill.

My ratings: ❤❤❤
Price range: $-$$

Gyro Platter
On pita with lettuce, tomato & feta cheese.  Served with French Fries.
The tzatziki was creamy with cucumber shreds in it.  They only gave me an oil-vinegar dressing with herbs in it.  The pita was piping hot, good to smother the cold tzatziki sauce on it.  The salad was fresh.  Fries were from frozen packages.
