Washington Eats: Ben’s Chili Bowl

I had to come here to this historic landmark in Washington DC before I leave.  Well I tried it and I didn’t like it.  It’s just an ordinary sausage, put on a crappy bun, with cheese and chilli on it.  Expensive for the small hot dog too.  Line could get very long and it might be hard to find a spot to sit.  Just come here for the historic visit, but don’t imagine it’ll knock your socks off.

My ratings:
Price range: $
Half-smoked, with mustard, onions and chili
The chili wasn’t even that good, it was very salty and somewhat too acidic.  The sausage was mediocre, didn’t even had a snap.  It was just like cheap sausage in the grocery store.  The bun was just awful store-bought bun.  The chips were complimentary.
