Boston Eats: Paesan’s Brick Oven Pizzeria

To be fair I didn’t try their pizza.  They had a food stall at the Fisherman’s Feast at the North End.  I had their aracini and it wasn’t very good.  It was big (you can feel the weight).  The risotto was quite lumpy and the outer shell was a bit thick.  What turned me off was the filling.  The turnover rate was high that day so I don’t think the aracini was sitting on the counter for hours.  However the meat already turned bad.  The filling to risotto ratio was also very off (not that much filling).  Mozarella was listed as one of the ingredients but I couldn’t really find it in the aracini.

My ratings:
Price range: $

Aracini: Riceball (Meat)
Rice, mozzarella, romano cheese, ground beef, tomatoes, peas, bread crumbs
Fried in canola oil
