Kingston Eats: West 76 Grill

View is not as good as the view at Aquaterra’s.  Server seemed grumpy and didn’t smile at all.  I think it’s a much overpriced restaurant.  Food was decent but not great enough that I would pay for this price and come back again.  You can walk out from this restaurant starving.  Although dishes are beautifully decorated, still, we’d have been better off grabbing the main meal elsewhere.  For the same price at another similar upscale restaurant, I could at least get a much better meal.

0411 House Salad 1 (West 76 Grill) 0411 House Salad 2 (West 76 Grill)House salad

0411 Beef and Blue Cheese (West 76 Grill)Beef and Blue Cheese
Thin sliced beef tenderloin, portobello and arugula salad, gorgonzola cheese
It tasted fine, but there were really only 2.5 slices of beef and there were no bread/potato/any carbohydrate starch.

0411 Xango Cheesecake (West 76 Grill)Xango Cheesecake
Rich, smooth cheesecake, with a slight tangy finish, rolled in melt-in-your-mouth flaky pastry tortilla, with fruit coulis
It’s a warm dessert.  It tasted pretty good with the blueberry and caramel coulis.
